i'm not sure who i would classify versatile as every character has its advantages and disadvantages.

This is a really tuff one. Back in the ninethies, at the time of MK1 to MK3, i would have said new chars like Nightwolf or Kabal without hesitation. But since MK9? Kabal seems to have lost his top tier contender possibilities.
Chars like Kenshi and Ermac? Well, still it goes to when they were used for the first time i'd say. Kung Lao and Raiden are most often big deals to master and face against but versatility? I doubt them both on that end. |

according to me, the most versatile character in MK history is Raiden mainly because of his teleporting which is the most dangerous move throughout all over the mk series.

Agree but regarding teleport Raiden is on top because of his speed.

Is it even one of the fastest signature moves in the series? Nah, i think Raiden is clearly a top tier fighter in the series. Fairly hard to beat, to master and powerful and rewarding to play as but for versatile characters i think he's far from guys like Liu Kang, Shang Tsung, Noob Saibot(?), Ermac or Nightwolf
