i think chameleon and khameleon should have been in more than one game such as mkd mksm and mk4 including mkda

I agree on the copy cats..not much lets say..independence from each other..they're basically the same which to me is boring and lame..if you want to make them similar but different, don't give them the same effect or make them excatly the same..not sure what you could do but not much was used it seems to make them different at all.
