I second that! He was such a copycat that just being the character actually bugged me. Based on the design, they should have just stayed with Kano. My fave new fighters from that game were Reiko and Quan Chi, but most of them were fine except for Jarek. My classic faves in MK4 were Scorpion, Sub-Zero, and Raiden. But I actually prefered playing MK: Gold. The graphics were that much better, and seeing some of the veterans rendered for this system was cool too. It's too bad it wasn't released on more systems, I think most MK fans would have prefered it too.

no doubt MKGold is upgrade version of mk4 like umk3 upgrade version of mk3

I like Mortal Kombat Gold: better looking graphic more like in MK4 arcade version, better quality of videos, more characters and arenas. Yes, it is something like Ultimate Mortal Kombat 4 for original MK4, but I think unlockables are harder to unlock. Every unlocking the hidden character must be started from Cheat Menu and the next continue on Select Your Fighter screen.
