MK statuettes

Some of you might already know but with the release of Mortal Kombat9, a company is making MK collectibles (Statuettes).

This is for those who haven't seen them yet. I personally think they're cool. I love these things (Have a couple, non MK). Jade, Scorpion and Raiden are particularly interesting to me.

Do not wish to start a rumor but Rain won a poll and i guess it was to decide which character they would make next. There are also talks about Motaro, Kenshi and Skarlet but again do not take this as confirmation. I might be wrong.

I e-mail them on their site, there is nothing planned for the future but i wish they wouldn't say no if they had a new contract with Warner or MK for future games characters!

They are still subject to change but there is already a price and a pre-order so i assume some of them are coming soon. There is also a scorpion bust and a premium Sub Zero statue, more expensive though.

No problem. I guess i saw a Motaro images of how he would look like. I'll try and share more when they come around.

This is what could be read:

With an impressive amount of support, Motaro (in his chosen MK3 Victory Pose) emerged victorious against the iconic MK Dragon, the second most popular choice. The Centaur's overall design will be decided by a group of fans and he will be sculpted.
SycoCollectibles have already expressed their enthusiasm and excitement concerning Motaro's victory through their facebook and they are looking forward to start sculpting his model as soon as we decide on his statue's final details. One of Syco Collectibles Lead Officers has already expressed his interest in sculpting a battle damaged, bruised, and/or scarred Motaro, accentuating his animalistic and dangerous presence even more. This option, however, will be up to the fans to decide.



1) Motaro's Base.
2) Motaro's Body.
3) And whether or not he should hold something in his hand.

No matter what will result he's an interesting character in terms of making him into a statue.

My sister pre-ordered the game and got two statues (Scorpion and Sub-Zero). Both are standing near a wall with Scorpion shoving his spear into his wall and said spear coming out of Sub-Zero's wall through his back and chest (best seen when the walls are placed back-to-back).

She must've gotten her copy from somewhere other than where I got mine because I got a T-shirt.
