Injustice: Gods Among Us gets release date and new trailer at TGS

Warner Bros. has revealed the release date for NetherRealm’s Injustice: Gods Among Us at the Tokyo Game Show.
According to IGN, the DC fighter will be released in April 2013 for the PS3, Xbox 360 and Wii U; and to celebrate, a new gameplay trailer featuring Batman and other characters were shown at TGS. Watch the trailer below courtesy of GameSpot.

as a dc fan.. I can honestly say this is EXCITING TIMES!!! but I don't know how well a dc fighter will do... honestly I like DC ONLINE..fun fun!! However.. meh.. its going to be great what am i even talking about!

If mortal kombat has shown us anything its that they know how to tell a good story! Which is exactly what a dc fan like me wants!

Although I like a lot of characters from the DC Universe, I'm going to wait and see how this game turns out. NetherRealm Studios, like the previous Midway, has lots of great ideas, but I'm concerned about how well the ideas will be executed.

Kevin Conroy voicing Batman yet again? One more reason for me to buy this! Too bad Mark Hamill won't be voicing the Joker ... and I wonder if the Joker's gonna be in this game?

This trailer got me excited, the gameplay looks as solid as MK9's and overall, the game looks badass.

I read somewhere that Mark Hamill himself said he wouldn't voice the Joker again after Arkham City, which is sad. But John DiMaggio did a good job in "Under The Red Hood", maybe he'll be voicing the Joker from now on. though I'm not counting on it too much.

I'm glad Kevin Conroy still voices the Dark Knight, I can hardly find any probable/suitable replacement for the Joker but if Conroy decided to stop voicing the bat, Bruce Greenwood would be a fine choice.

With all that, I wonder if the Joker will be in Gods Among Us. I really can't imagine a DC games in which Batman can't fight against his arch-nemesis.

I agreee, it's sad that Mark won't voice him again. But i doubt the Joker won't appear in GAU. He's like the biggest bad guy out from the DC universe. I can't believe he wouldn't be DLC if he's not in the general roster.
