Xbox360 Red Ring (RoL) Red Rings of Death

You see three lights on the Ring of Light (RoL) flash red on the front of your Xbox 360 console. The upper-right quadrant light is the only light that does not flash red. This behavior occurs when the Xbox 360 console experiences a hardware failure. well for those who have an xbox360, and develop red ring, this should answer why you have it. As you will read in the first post the lights flash blink and do different things depending on what the problems is, it will let you know if it's overheating, if your CD reader is bad and lets you know if your power supply is going bad. 6 out of 10 xbox360 users incounter this problem, and have no idea why or what the RoL means. You ask why it should be sticky, that one is easy, to give this site something others dont always have, "useful" and "usable" information. If it's not sticky, that's fine, it will jus get pushed back behind with the rest of the dead topics. EDIT: Or, you could merge this thread with the Xbox help thread... |
