I have very fond memories of the Mortal Kombat series. The first game, played on the SNES, was a step-up from any fighter I’d played before, but it was Mortal Kombat II that became a revelation for the fighting genre. Most afternoons at my place we had 6 guys huddled around a 30 centimeter TV and SNES waiting for the ‘FINISH HIM’ so we could show off our knowledge of Fatalities, Babalities, Friendships and Stage-Specific finishers.
