Paul W.S. Anderson Interested In Shooting Another Mortal Kombat Movie

Hollywood, I've been patiently waiting for another Mortal Kombat movie for 13 years. Seeing a live-action Baraka on the silver screen brought a tear to my eye. What's the hold up? Paul W.S. Anderson, who directed the original Mortal Kombat film back in 1995, is down. It's just that no one has knocked on his door about it yet.

"No one's talked to me about it," he told G4. "But if they did, it would be something I would definitely be interested in. It was the movie that launched m in Hollywood, so obviously I have a huge affection for it."

He also says he "loved making the movie," and used to the play the game all of the time before he had even worked on the project. "That's a property that I have a huge amount of affection for," he says of the franchise, "and I think it's a property that could again be relaunched and make an amazing movie."

God I hope someone does...he should direct it once again. He and the others did an amazing job doing so and he knows what it takes to make the movie work. Well hopefully he can tie all that together once again. I mean, there are tons of people who know what makes a good movie but considering he knew exactly what to add and how to do it and got it right the first time, it's definitely worth it to have him again or at least working with a team to help it fly and somewhat redeem for annihilation, even though I still enjoy watching it at at times.

First MK movie was great but the second sucked. If they whant to make another they better get it right this time.

MK2 movie wasn't suck but mk1 was superb

The first one was class.. The second.. err.. not THAT amazing but still, watchable.. Well I have always looked for the MK movie or series called Konquest or something.. I always wanted to see it but never got my hands on em..
