mk deserving fan?

Do you deserve to be called an MK fan even if you don't know much about MK history or kombatants bios?

I say yes. The most important thing, mostly with a fighting game since it has so many characters as always been playing the game. The rest comes after.

Read it all once: Canon stroy and canon fights for each game i think it was. Some parts i remember but i can't play a game before MK4. I only meant that everyone deserves to be call a fan even though they don't know story or bios. With that many chars, it comes second in my opinion. What matters are the players that play their fav chars like nuts, or the number of chars you might use. Story matters more or less in fighters.

I believe they are fans, as long as they enjoy the game and play like crazies its okeii, but nonetheless, they can't be called PRO-fans, those are the ones who knows bio and backstory and all that stuff

Hardcore fans, players are the ones who'll play a game like, sit all day to discover all of the game's features, secrets. Sometimes even playing a really redundant mode and claiming it has a lot of replay value. Pro fans, players will most likely be players that have obtained a certain level of quality in their playing, along with the regularity the hardcore fan has into how much they play it. But the pro fan will be rewarded by entering tournaments other than casual online tournaments and gatherings. He'll mostly get paid for his prowless.

That being said, depending on the game and franchise, i grew up as a hardcore gamer in certain area but the MK story i don't really follow anymore. Even more since MK9. It has a really deep story and telling, that being said i don't know and remember what happened to many chars. Even chars that i used to follow in terms of story in the past. That return to the past might be what ****ed with me and discouraged me from staying into the game's story.

For instance: I remember that Scorpion is playable as vilain in story and i guess Cyrax, but i dunno how the Cyborg and many others have ended (Dead for many earthrealm warriors to the hands of Sindel.) But others? How did that happens? Can Cyrax still join the good side and special forces?

The guy has to play the game in my eyes to be called a fan. With the help of the internet nowadays, it's pretty easy to obtain informations about a game in terms of story. Doesn't mean you play it. But having the informations along with the playing is what happens most of the times of course.

My first game was MK, I was like 5...I've got them all except the DreamCast one which was basically like #4 anyways, right? I know the stories for the original few girls, not so much for the guys tho. I think I'll always love MK2 the most out of them all aside from MK9 the 2D sprites are ok to look at, its when they started going 3D with polygons where the girls have pointy boobs and square hairstyles and stuff that I can't really play just cuz its hard to look at...
