Back in the early 90s game such as Mortal Kombat caused a lot of controversy due to extreme violence, since then the ESRB has had the job of rating software so that certain age groups are not exposed to what the ESRB regard unsuitable content.
At the time however, Mortal Kombat’s fatalities were extremely popular with gamers, and with a new game in the series launching next year we thought you would appreciate seeing what GameTrailers and ScrewAttack regard as the top 10 fatalities from previous Mortal Kombat games. You can see a video showing the top 10 fatalities below, here is a breakdown of the top 10: in 10th place was Reptile’s facial surgery, in 9th place was Quan Chi’s leg beating, in 8th place was Dairou’s ribs in the eyes, in 7th was Cyrax’s trash compacter, in 6th place was Kano’s skeleton remover, in 5th place was Baraka’s blades-in-the-chest, in 4th place was Scorpion’s party popper, in 3rd place was Johnny Cage’s punching page, in second place was Liu Kang’s dragon transformation and finally top of the list was Sub Zero’s spine rip. |

Well, I do not agree to this.
In my opinion, it should be. 10. Dairou's fatality 9. Liu Kang's 8. Reptile's 7. Baraka's 6. Johny Cage's 5. Sub Zero's 4. Cyrax's 3. Scorpion's 2. Kano's 1. Quan Chi's As if it was for me, they totally missed these fatalities.

I don't agree with this at all but for some reason some of the fatalities are good.10. Shinnok's Skeleton of death9. Tanya's Kiss of death8. Liu Kang's Animality7. Shujinko's Double Slice6. Sonya's Purple Haze5. Scorpion's toasty4. Liu Kang's soccer/fire combo3. Sonya's MK4 Split fatality2. Sub-Zero's head rip1. Liu Kang's MK4 fatalitity

10. MK Vs. Dcu (All)-- i would change this, i would put subzero mk3 fatality instead (ice breaker)
9. Qunchi Leg (MK4 Leg Fatality Funny)-- i would put sindel mk fatality instead (scream) 8. Kano (MK1 Heart Rip fatality)-- the same for me 7. Reptile (MK2 tongue fatality)---the same for me 6. Ermac (MKD both fatality)-- i would put shang tsung mk2 fatality instead (soul steal) 5. Baraka (MK2 2nd fatality)--- the same for me 4. Scorpion (MK2 2nd fatality)-- i would put scorpion mk1 fatality instead (fire breath) 3. Kung Lao (MK2 Slice Fatality)--- the same for me 2. Liu Kang (MK2 Dragon Fatality)--i would put sektor mk3 fatality instead (flamethrower) 1. Sub-Zero (MK1)-- the best fatality in the story of mortal kombat
