which mk games was your favorite at the time

Hey guys sub here its been sometime since i mad any new threads anyways.I wasnt born yet but i liked mk1'2 and 3 yeah i liked the way the coustumes were made in mk1 and i liked mk2 for its story line and popular arcade play.I didnt like the other games mk3 games i like mkt much better.They put alot of characters in it.I like that because it gives you chance to test out your skill.Mainly this about which mk game had more lively hood in it.

Although the majority of the world loves Mortal Kombat II, I love it too and it's always been my favorite. It's probably the only one iv played the most and their new creation of characters were authentic as hell. I also like how they didnt treat the women like sex objects and actually like cool, kickass fighters...as opposed to now.

Still my favorite game today is definitely:
Mortal Kombat Trilogy
It is beyond my knowledge why is it so underrated. The game is awesome, it has a lot of replay value, it brings back stages from MK2 and MK1, not to mention that out of all the appearances Johnny Cage has made, this is his most badass one.
It's just awesome from beginning to end.

My first game that I played of Mortal Kombat was the first game called Mortal Kombat for Sega Mega Drive.

The next game I played was Mortal Kombat for Super Nintendo.

Both games were good but not to my expectation and comparing to Killer Instinct which I played earlier before I played Mortal Kombat when I received my Super Nintendo with Killer Instinct as a combo pack.

Maybe it was to do with the blood count/gore, combos, Fatalities/Danger Moves, Friendships/Humiliations, Ultras/Brutalities, Ultimates, appearance of stages, appearance of characters and the bosses.

The next game I played was Mortal Kombat 3 for Sony Playstation, the next game was Ultimate Mortal Kombat 3 for Super Nintendo, the next game was Mortal Kombat Trilogy for Sony Playstation, the next game was Mortal Kombat 4 for Nintendo 64, the next game was Mortal Kombat 4 for Sony Playstation, the next game was Mortal Kombat Mythologies Sub Zero.

The next game I played was Mortal Kombat Deception for Xbox, the next game was Mortal Kombat Deadily Alliance for Xbox.

The next game I played was Mortal Kombat Vs DC Universe for Xbox 360.

I played Mortal Kombat Armageddon for Xbox once.

All the games that I played was enjoyable and the moves were very interesting.

My favourite MK games are........

MK Trilogy
Because it had all the characters from MK 1, 2, 3 and U3. I could use the characters in the game to fight against characters that they don't fight against.

MK Deception
MK Deadily Alliance
MK 4

I too like Mortal Kombat Trilogy alot for the same reasons as you except that I didn't know who were the characters in MK 2 at that time that I played it.

mk4 for it's fast paced,quick action gameplay(idk how the game being fast,could be ever considered a bad thing)

and mksm for it's fast paced gameplay,special boss fights,abilaties like air recovery,great fatalities,multalities and brutalites,awsome kicka** combos,test your might during gameplay and awsome super special bada** team special moves

Yea, I always wondered why Ultimate MK3 is considered the "best one"...I just dont get it, cuz in trilogy you get all the characters...all the stages, all the music. To me it's common sense. Why buy MK3 or Ultimate MK3 when you can just get Trilogy? lol.

Maybe there's glitches I don't know about that people like to bitch at.

that true MKTrilogy people get all characters,stages and music but not balance gameplay in umk3 all characters has balance game play Mk Trilogy is good fun not for tournament

I always verse my cousin and make it like a tournament when I play MKTrilogy it is awesome. I use Kung Lao as my arsenal because I can do the spinning move as an advantage to move and attack and the same time.

as i said before mkt is for fun it's easy to perform combos and mkt is little fast then umk3 and goro,kintaro,motaro and shao khan are overpower characters in mkt whereas umk3 is balance game play.
