What would've happened if Liu kang didn't get killed?

I had this thought. What if in MK Deadly Alliance the Shang Tsung and Quan Chi duo couldn't kill Liu kang and Liu managed to escape. (they still kill the Shao Khan clone though) How would the other games play out? What's your opinion. My opinion is that the good guys would've had a much easier time with the onaga crisis and blaze.

Same thing that is now: just repeatative him kicking but and maybe no deadly alliance most likely...now if he decided to hook up with Kitana that'd be another..actually that one's bugging me..this has been going on for years! lol.
