I shoud clear things up, Rain. I meant the people that don't appreciate 2-D video games cause it is true that there are people that think 2-D games are crap as I personally have met a few. Plus if you read it "Properly", I never said I thought they were crap as I do love them.
I meant the people who don't like them are crap because if you read it "Carefully", I wrote "I hate gamers that don't like, appreciate or understand 2-D video games and think that they're crap". I love classics. Hell, I'd play Mortal Kombat Trilogy over Mortal Kombat Armageddon any day. I also still like to play old snes titles. ;D

Well, I like classics, especially MK, lol... :D I haven´t played them much on actual consoles, only MK 2 actually, and at that time I wasn´t into it that much. Well, on emulator, I played about 40 matches of UMK 3 with three of my friends at school today... We had damn much fun with it, even though I kicked their asses badly! :D And well, about other classics, SF of course, and Mario was pretty fun too. Some old games are just plain crappy though...

I've been raised by games. The classics are the fuel that powers a franchise and i respect and still play some of em but i'm really happy when i can clearly see the evolution of a franchise or game.

Oh no I'm not tired of the classics. It's weird to play them because graphics have gotten 1000 times better, but I still prefer them sometimes because they were simple and fun. I used to have an atari..

I can never stop playing the first Zelda and the 3rd Super Mario. They say those are classics and they paved the way for today, but these games are better than some next gen games imo
