If you like the MK theme than you are liking techno/electronica music. Even though it might only be one song, it still kind of puts you in the catergory of liking the genre.

Sorry, but... That was some of the lamest shit I´ve ever heard, seriously. If I like ONE song out of many songs I´ve heard, it makes me like the genre? I really doubt that... It doesn´t even make me like the artist who made the song. That might be bit harshly put, but I must say that you still have very interesting logic going on. ;D

From my point of view.
I listen to heavy metal and emo, goth music like Papa Roach - Blood Brothers, Last Resort. Drowning Pool - Sinner, Bodies. Marilyn Manson - This Is The New Shit. Disturbed - Down With The Sickness.
I don't really like the genres, because I listen to it, it kind of puts me in the catergory of liking the genres.
I over rule myself saying I don't like the genres when I listen to a couple that might have been played in movies like The One, Matrix. I like the songs because it actually suited the movie for The One (which has Jet Li in it for people who might not know what this movie is) I wanted to listen to the whole song.
Same with country music i don't like most of the country music. Kind of depends on what the country music sounds like. I like Shania Twain, The Corrs, Dolly Parton, Leanne Rimes.

What it might mean to you might be different. To me that is how I see it.

Alright then, you say you don´t really like the genre but you still do like it "kinda"?

Yeah you are partially on a point but not on the same wave.
I don't like the style or genre because it's not what I would listen to on a normal, ordinary day basis. I listen to R&B music, Pop music, Electronica music.
I like Rock music, it depends on the sub-styles/genres of Rock. There is lots of branches into Rock music like Heavy Metal, Punk, Emo, Goth, Soft.

I can study the music, learn about it, listen to all kinds. When it comes down to personal taste on what I enjoy is when I would say I like it or love it.
Music doesn't have to be catchy for me to like it. As long as the music has all the elements to make up a song or motif I would listen to it.
