I'm normally the outcast because of the music I like. People do infact make fun of me because of the music I like. They laugh because my music doesn't use electric instruments. As a musician, I feel that electric "instruments" are not instruments at all. They simply make noise. Of course, that's my opinion.

I see what you mean. Of course I have to disagree with you because I need to back up the kind of music I listen to; which is all electronic. But I can still see where you are coming from.

I guess it's because I'm old school(even though I'm 20 years old). The thing about electric instruments is that they are not reliable. If a circuit goes bad, that's going to be costly to fix it. What if you play on stage, and the power cuts off? That's it, no more show. If I had my old band up on stage, and the power goes off, oh well, keep playing. Of course all of this is my opinion. We are each entitled to our own.

People would expect me to listen to regeton just because I'm hispanic. But I seriously hate that music.

Ha regeton, I hate that too, I'm also expected to listen to it. But I think it's funny; so when me and my friends are cruising down the streets, we just blast hispanic music like Regeton, and pretend to love it. People just stare at us like we are crazy, cuz most of my friends are white.
