NetherRealm Studios have announced Mortal Kombat: Onslaught, a new mobile RPG coming next year, where you have to participate in "massive real-time group battles."
While we won't see Mortal Kombat 12 for a little longer, according to Ed Boon, Mortal Kombat: Onslaught, a new role-playing spin-off featuring "the first mobile-exclusive story experience and console-quality cinematics," is a follow-up to 2015's Mortal Kombat Mobile, and will launch globally on iOS and Android devices sometime in 2023.
The New patch for the game that will allow players of the Microsoft Play Anywhere PC version of the game to play with Xbox consoles. In other words, there's now cross-play between these two versions.
