Here are some pics of a custom controller I just finished.
    Specs and info to come. I am still gathering all the media. The first time I played this game was on an SF Arcade Stick. I knew I could not play this game without an arcade stick. So I decided to build some. Its def been a fun learning process. Took me about 3 weeks to build one from scratch. I should have a whole write up with vids by this Monday. Similar Threads: |

This is a breakdown of how the price and value of these sticks. $10 - Wood $3 - Glue $8 - Screws (Box and Joystick mount) $1 - Paint $2 - Artwork $1 - Adhesive $10 - Clear Coat $30 - Buttons $30 - Circuit Board $5 - Wires $20 - Shipping (Box, Bubble wrap, Tape, Label) $115 - Toooooooooooooooootal just to produce and send this to you. At my asking price, I only make only enough money to build another stick. So I do not make a real profit when I sell these. I make only enough money to make another one. So why do I do it? Because it is not about profit. It is about art. It is about creating something because it is fun. Because it is a special niche. There is only two other places you can get custom MK sticks. Arcade In A Box and from other custom fabricators. So I enjoy making these for the sake of doing it. Trust me, if someone else was making sticks like this, I wouldn't be making them. |
