Do these variations contains balance (equality) among characters?

Once it was asked to Ed Boon that what actually are these variations? and he answered that variations has been introduced to create balance among different character like 'scorpion A' can beat 'Kano A' but 'Scorpion B' can not beat 'Kano A'.
My first question to Ed and team is can't they maintain balancing while creating single character instead of introducing variations because it will finally be TOO much for a gamer? 24 total characters with 3 variations means 24*3= 72. So, we have to deal with 72 characters instead of 24 in which 12 are new. Does these calculation looks like they are balancing? my answer would be NO. |

To answer the question in your topic title, i think they all have 3 variations so the answer would be YES, there is already balance from that.
Each character having 3 variations, and one variation for a certain character will most likely be weak against a number of variations from other characters and so on... Now that could be a problem. I think players, pro or not might just learn/master a smaller amount of characters this time around. But they'll be fixing what characters may be broken really fast. |

well after seeing all the players they have currently i can say there are some characters i will be great with and some i wont...Kotal Kahn looks like he will be a difficult one to master but thats just me. in short i think these variations are going to be a great new feature to play around with..it will offer more flexibility to players. after this is next gen tech....lets get something new!
