The footage includes closer looks at each of the characters in action with expected moves such as Wonder Woman's lasso and sword strikes; Superman's flight and heat vision; and The Flash's speedy punches. However, there are also a few surprises with Harley Quinn sporting a hammer, gun and an exploding pie; Batman immobilizing The Flash upside-down with his grapple gun and using him as a punching bag; and Solomon Grundy grabbing Wonder Woman by the head and tossing her far away from the battlefield.
"Our goal is to make the most insane, over-the-top, blockbuster superhero experience packaged in a fighting game," Boon told G4. "We wanted to make our backgrounds interactable and destructible. We wanted players to be able to go to a certain part of a background and pick up a car and throw it. So all these events that you see, smaller events of a fighting game, magnify it by ten and that's what "Injustice" is."
