Nice, I think I've seen that picture before with the similar style many times...though yes the flame is repeat, it's a nice touch. You should use it for a banner :)

Well, you should improve the cutout quite a bit. Also, the MK vs DCU-logo isn´t top quality. Background, not horrible, but not sure about the planet there. = / Needs improvements.

Wow.............. Needs alot of improvements... its like a draft... u need to smooth out the Cutting.. Blend Scorpion in.. show some kind of effect of shadow to make it look like he is standin in a fire ..

OMG good job! Background looks awesome! But I agree with Revy. If you can, try and smooth out the black lines. Scorpions pose works with the background but the black lines make him stick out a bit, just a little. You have to kinda stare a bit to notice it though so it's nothing huge really. But Rain's idea of a shadow is good, will make him stand out a little more. Some shadow at his feet will do just fine. I dunno if you can but some flames a little close to him would look great too but like I said, I don't know if that's possible..I've never made one but a background that kinda of closes in on the character a little with some shading really makes them stand out :)
