Mortal Kombat release for the
Sony Playstation Vita handheld system are finally coming to fruition. This comes just days after Sony Director of Hardware Marketing, John Koller made a quick mention at CES 2012 of Mortal Kombat's existence on the platform. [

Market Watch closely confirms the new title is being developed by
NetherRealm Studios which will include several new gameplay features as well as release set sometime as soon as this Spring. From Market Watch:

In a triumphant return to the game's original mature presentation, Mortal Kombat offers over-the-top fatalities and cringe-worthy X-ray moves. page, but as of this posting a

@WB_GAMES_UK confirms its Spring 2012 release date.
If this ever happen to be true, i wonder what type of new features will be added to the gameplay. Kind of curious. Characters maybe? God knows i'd be angry at first if there were exclusive chars but still some chars could make me want to have a new shot at this game just in terms of curiosity.
