You have one of those fans that connect to the back of the system, right? I might actually change my mind and pick up the X-Box 360 if I can get it at a good price and pick up a fan too so that the system won't overheat. Which is what I believe causes the red light. |

Actually, the fan might cause problems too, as it reduces the power supply to the console a bit. Or this is what I´ve read, no experience, but sounds logic.

No, I mean what I said. The fan might cause problems, I´ve read about it. As it´s not designed by Microsoft itself.

Today, I actually checked out the fans and both the ones for the X-Box 360 and Sony PlayStation 3 are not made by Microsoft or Sony respectfully, but by a company called Intec.
