i went to yahoo.com
clicked on images
and typed mortal kombat backrounds

ok. now its time for me to help u. (if u use paint) when u add a image to another one go to image on the tool bar and go down to draw opaque. click on it and the black background should be gone.

maybe the sprites background needs to be white cause all mine are and it works
