Be Aware of Rumors About the Third Mortal Kombat Movie

Supposedly, according to Chris Casamassa, who played Scorpion in both films, he's set to start filming the third Mortal Kombat film in September.

There are several rumors of this nature going around. Please keep in mind that this is highly unlikely at this time due to the Threshold lawsuit and Midway's sale to Warner Brothers.

Well it doesn't matter anyway because it's been highly unlikely for like ten years now! Chris Cassamassa has been talking about the filming for quite some time now, and there's loads of rumours going around that the script needs work, etc. I've kinda lost hope for this as its been ages but would love to see a new one in theaters for the first time. Where did you get this Shan? I'm just curious because there's been talk of Chris making statements like this for quite some time, although he can't say much or he'll breach the contract.

Not neccessarily, they'll get credit for making the game, as it'll be based upon it but won't be following the games exactly here, it'll be somewhat different, and I don't think they'll mind or hope because they'll be making a profit from this regardless.
