There was a fan page on Facebook called "Draw Mohammad Day" which offends many Muslims (apparently, it's blasphemous to draw him). Its object was to let Muslim extremists know the creator (and whoever joined) were not going to be "threatened into silence".

The creators of South Park have been threatened because a recent episode shows Mohammad in a bear suit.
