CraveOnline talk to the actor playing Johnny Cage, Matt Mullins.
Yesterday, a trailer for a newMortal Kombat Movie populated the internet. We got an exclusive interview with Johnny Cage actor - Matt Mullins. CraveOnline: The entire internet was a buzz about this trailer that leaked out today. Can you set the record straight and give us the scoop on what it is for? Matt Mullins: It has been really cool to see all of the buzz about the short. The truth is, the short is about showing a vision of what the next Mortal Kombat movie can be. I think it is a very well thought out concept that pays homage to the video game and its fans. The attention to detail and the little elements added will set this film apart from all the other films.
I don’t know what Mortal Kombat Rebirth is, a trailer for a game? or is it an upcoming movie? It seems that a few characters have been named in the clip, that will appear in the game or movie.
Michael Jai White As Jax,
Jeri Ryan as Sonya,
Baraka, Scorpion,
Sub-Zero,
Shang Tsung,
Reptile,
Johnny Cage.
The clip is 7:49 minutes long, so it’s pretty lengthy for a trailer, so my best guess is that is has too be a tie-in for a video game, cause E3 is right around the corner. I hope it’s a movie, I’m very intrigued on the possibilities.
