Bookmarks Suggestion

I was using those bookmarks, that you can find on the bottom of the thread, and I thought, that we could make a page, only for Bookmarks only on mknexusonline.com .
We could access it by clicking on the button that would be located on the bar with all other buttons:
User CP | gXboxLive | FAQ | ChatBox Full | Donate | Members List | Calendar | Arcade | Gallery | Media | New Posts | Search | Quick Links | Bookmarks | Log out
So then the link could be: [Only registered and activated users can see links. [Only Registered Users Can See LinksClick Here To Register]]
Or the link could be: [Only registered and activated users can see links. [Only Registered Users Can See LinksClick Here To Register]]
So it would be like, you like a thread, and you want to keep track on it, no problem, the bookmark thread is here, click the bookmark thread and bookmark your thread, when you click on Bookmarks, it opens the page and show your bookmarks!

Blade first i would like to thank you for interesting in mknexusonline, as i can understand your this suggestion it is called subscription that we already have please check usercps.

No, this is not what I ment, I ment like a Bookmark button in any thread, and if you want to open it without troubles, just click on bookmarks and open it.

Blade i never see this feature before any site could you please recommend any site where you see this kind of feature and btw bookmarks icon already available on all threads

Ok here goes: So MKR I think what Blade is trying to say is bookmarking allows you to save a certain page so that you don't have to type in the website address and click the forums link to direct you to the forums page so you can view a certain topic.

The bookmarking option is displayed on the forum, in a separate header (see the bottom picture blade has display) and what that does is it allows you to save any pages or forum topics from this website in a link displayed in a box so that when you visit this site you can click on that link and it'll automatically take you to the topic that you want to view when you saved it instead of having to click on the forums link, and then the topic that is display within the forums page.

So for example: if I want to go here to the supporting site topic for this specific topic, instead of having to type [Only registered and activated users can see links. [Only Registered Users Can See LinksClick Here To Register]], click on the forum link, and then the supporting topic, I could simply click on the link I saved within the bookmark option display in the header (again, see the bottom picture Blade has displayed) and be redirected back to the topic I saved.

So basically it saves time because instead of having to click 2-3 links to get to the topic I want to view within this forum, and browse through say 20 pages, I can type in the mknexusonline website address, click on the bookmarked link within the header and be directed to the topic or page that I previously saved so that I don't have to roam through the many pages to find the topic I want to view. The book mark option will already have that topic there, and will take you to it, even if that topic is on page 5 instead of one.

Think if it as saving a certain website in a my favourites option. Instead of typing in the web address, you just click on the link and it'll take you to that website, or whichever page you saved it on so you don't have to retype it in again or forget what it's called :)

You can also think of it as saving a place in a book your reading. If you can't remember where you last left it at, you open the book to your book mark to the page that you last read before you went to sleep :) Does that make sense, MKR?

Ok here's a simplified step in case the detailed explanation isn't clear because I'm not sure how to explain this without visuals :) I'm a visual learner so that's why. Plus, I've never used a book mark so this is the general idea and example of one :)

So here's what it could look like with the bookmark option (please anyone correct me if I'm wrong or re-write this in a more simplified manner if the many sentences I have typed are misleading in any way). I will start these steps from the forums link, not the general website (front page) link, and will show how to save certain links to a header, and use this topic, "bookmarks suggestion topic as an example :)

Step 1: type [Only registered and activated users can see links. [Only Registered Users Can See LinksClick Here To Register]].

Step 2: click on the "forums" link displayed in the mk nexus online header.

Step 3: Go to the mk nexus online "support" topic.

Step 4: View the page "bookmarks suggestion topic" under the Support topic in the mknexusonline.com forums.

Step 5: (not too sure on the "saving part" as I never used a bookmark but this is an example.) Scroll over to the book mark link, and click "save this page" or "book mark this page" (whichever option comes up when you click on the link).

Step 6: From saving the page through the bookmark option, go back to [Only registered and activated users can see links. [Only Registered Users Can See LinksClick Here To Register]], click on the forums link, and click on the book mark link and that should display the page (if the page is displayed within the book mark header then click that instead) that you've saved, which would be the supporting topic forum topic: "bookmark suggestion".

Step 7: click on the link to "bookmark suggestion" from the book mark list. Once you click on it it'll take you to that page :) Step 7 probably wasn't needed but either way you can see that the book mark option holds saved pages so that you may use those links as a short cut to view your saved pages instead of having to look for them :) Does this example provide more clarity, MKR? Hope this helps you :)

(and this is a great idea by the way, I don't think anyone thought past the whole book mark the website or what not xD well, I think we all may have come across it in our minds but didn't say anything and most likely forgot for that matter. I know I did xD) Please correct me if I'm wrong Blade :) I know this is long but I wasn't too sure on how to go about explaining it so I tried two methods.
