Weakened by blood loss, Sub-Zero's past plays in his head. He remembers his cybernetization, death and uncybernetization. An unexpected companion, Bo' Rai Cho comes to help him.

Meanwhile, Hanzo Hasashi and his young mentee embark on a next mission.
At the end of the chapter we see Reiko trying to make a horrible deal with Jax: a Kamidogu dagger in exchange for his daughter's life.
