Best Xbox games

Sense PS2 is working on being ancient I was considering on buying a 360...
I'm not much for football or sports games other then like racing games, but when would you say be the best ones for me to get? I'd definatly be getting MK8 but what else should I get?

Yeah, I think I'll have to get Halo 3 for 360, when I get a 360...and MKA n' MK8. Other then that I'm not sure what to get...
