The improvements include:
1. on chip memory controller like A64's and phenoms
2. DDR3 memory support, infact only works with ddr3
3. Triple channel memory controller
4. Hyperthreading. 8 cores for ur physical 4.
5. "SLI" ready intel chipset boards (X58; some partners)
