scorpion deffinetly i mean cmon thats the first time u see a really original fighting move...ice,lighting,fire those r all elements that u see everywhere but a spear comin out of a dude's hand now thath's original

It wasn't coming out of his hand, he was just throwing it. The only time it's ever come out of his hand was in the movies. Still, original none the less...

However Sub-Zero has the nod as best MK1 character because of the most gruesome thing to ever take part in a video game up to this game. The infamous Spine Rip.

there is no denying that sub-zero is the best mk1 kharakter in the entire series,i mean he's got the ability to paralyze the enemy for 7 seconds,he's got the lin kuei slide,and he's got the absolutely greatest fatality (in my opinion)EVER!

yes you almost right but i think raiden fatality is best in mk1 then sub-zero and kano

ummm....people seem to forget that liu kang was the only one to defeat goro and shang tsung ALONE in mk1.
