Hmm dunno..hard to say...they're all kinda boss material..except for Stryker XD Need someone new or characters that aren't used as kombatants Ex: Argus, Delia, or one of the elder gods could be fun :)

shao kahn and onaga.

onaga kahn or shao onaga or onakahn or shaonaga.

or maybe shinnok finally obtains the REAL AMULET and become even more powerfull than onaga.

or a great alliance like the shokan alliance(goro and kintaro and maybe sheeva or a new shokan) or the deadly alliance(shang tsung and quan chi) or the deadly trio (shang tsung and quan chi and shinnok) or the cenetour alliance (motaro and a new cenatour).
