Yes, and it was ok. Actually it was the trailer that got me into the books in the first place. I didn't hear about the book until a month or two before it was set to come to theaters. I don't like the actress for Bella....The vampires suited their roles well :) But it jumped around too much from scene to scene to really get the gist of what was happening..could have been better but pretty good. The baseball scene was my favourite part, even in the book. Naturally the book would be better, but this one missed out some important things too I found.

a movie will not match a book it's different to convey the emotion on how it is written, i found that Harry Potter in movies in one series didn't match the info that was in the book.

No but they were good, well most anyway XD Heh, I'm not saying it's supposed to follow it, just that there were also important bits in the book not added in the movie, and that it was a little repetitive, that's all. But still good to watch. Sometimes the movie can be better than the book, but not too often. And sometimes the movie is worse than the book XD Anyway, still makes it worth watching.
