I really think that the Pit on MK II is the best. Espeacially since that is where Blaze was born.

Hornbuckle.
However the two were really just Liu Kang sprites, one with black pants and one with the upper torso on fire. Ed Boon, and John Tobias but them there just to add effect, but fans named them thinking they were hidden characters. They named the one of fire blaze and the other hornbuckle. So in reality both characters were created by MK fans. Woot.
