Well, people could ask questions, and then I or anyone else could try answering them. Then we would gather the questions and answers to this or Rain´s first message on this thread. How that sounds?

That sounds good but honestly i'm a beginner, never tried doing an animation so if someone could just explain to me the basics i would really like to try. -THX-.

Well, first lets see what we need for doing an animation:

A .gif-animator
Sprites for the frames
And the frames of course


Sprites are images of the characters in 2D-games, like SF and MK. These are available on some sites, and can be ripped with emulators by almost anyone...


Making the frames, well, basicly you just need to put what you want on the frames. For example, a background, and couple of sprites on it. To make it look good, the sprites need to be kept on correct positions, if you haven´t already, for example go see my fatality-animation:

Making it into animation: You need to load the image files/frames into a .gif-animator. Jasc Animation Shop 3 is a good program, I can recommend it. Once you have the files in the program, you should adjust the framerate to make it look right. You can also adjust it frame by frame, to make some points faster or slower.

Well, you need to be a bad boy and download Animation Shop 3 somewhere, or buy it, or find a free .gif-animator.
